I can say this much I am alittle concerned about JvR's hip if he doesn't get the surgery. Doing rehab and then skating hard at game speed is two different levels. Will the hip hold up all season long? Thats the million dollar question.

There is no "treatment" for a cam impingement outside of surgery. That is straight from my doctor's mouth. And he's not a quack. I'm guessing one side wants the surgery to happen now and the other doesn't. As I said earlier, you can play with it, but imo your performance will be diminished. Maybe JVR thinks he can somehow play through it. Maybe postpone the inevitable by a season or two.

I think he's being a female dog about it. Some one that takes his poop seriously does whatever it takes to get back into the game and make sure they are 100% by preseason. On that basis trade him because 4 mill to have him in and out of the lineup is too much for this idiot
