Holmer's comments and the whispers around the league clearly have this kid perched on the trade block. Why are the flyers seeking to get rid of him if they believe he can make a full recovery. Taking back Vinny is a deal breaker for me. Since he won the cup his game has disappeared every single year. His cap hit stinks too.

There is no "treatment" for a cam impingement outside of surgery. That is straight from my doctor's mouth. And he's not a quack. I'm guessing one side wants the surgery to happen now and the other doesn't. As I said earlier, you can play with it, but imo your performance will be diminished. Maybe JVR thinks he can somehow play through it. Maybe postpone the inevitable by a season or two.

So your saying that JVR is basically doing nothing for his hip? I'm going to go with the Doctors who have actually seen and treated JVR here. Rather then going with outdated articles and what another Doctor who doesn't even know what JVR's condition is, says.

Maybe it will be an ongoing issue with JVR. Who knows. But I'm not going to call him damaged goods when I don't know that to be the case.
