I like Johson trade better, also. However, I don't want to part with Meszy unless the Flyers are getting something back besides Johnson. - ravishingone
The person they could get back is Carle
Timonen
E Johnson
Coburn
Grossmann
Carle
Gustfasson/Bourdon
Will have more updates on Rick Nash tomorrow but important to know he is willing to go to the Philadelphia Flyers
Oh yea, I just keep stirring the pot - bigmookalookie
Dustin Leed has been on this as well. Something is going to happen, I think Nash is a distraction and like someone posted earlier to drive up the price. I think the Rangers easily could give up more than what was recently rumored.
If Homer can get Nash while keeping Couts and Schenn, insanity

I think the Flyers have other needs at solidifying their D to make the trade for Nash. I don't hate the JVR-Read-Bobrovsky and 1st rd pick but I think those pieces could be better served in acquiring a defenseman.
Would Nash be a more hated Flyer then Jeff Carter? He isn't even on the team and already he is holding this team back, man does he suck. - ravishingone
anything less than 30 mins a night and 60 goals and it's a waste of money and assets LOL

If he can convert his game to becoming a shut-down, 30 minute a night defenseman, then no.

I'm trying to think the best playmaker Nash has played with in Columbus, the only guy I can think of is Vinny Prospal. I have to be missing someone else, but I don't think so.

Yea thats what I think too.
I just meant Homer would be quite the dealer if he kept the kids.
But Im with you, lets go for Weber, and then down the line if that avenue isnt open.

I will be pissed if the Flyers get Nash and have to move pieces around once again. I've been cautioning patience all along simply because I believe this core of players we have seem destined to lift that wonderful chalice pretty soon. Making more drastic moves will only hurt those chances, even if it is for a Nash and Weber. The fact that it's more on Nash than Weber at the moment is infuriating to me.
I'm not on the Dustin Leed train at all either. He's all over the place so that when something breaks, he makes it seem like he was there the whole time.
