Just couldn't get into Stone Roses beyond "I wanna be adored". I was more of a Sisters of Mercy / NIN guy. |

I have no idea what anyone is talking about if the music was made after September 1991 (that was when all-sports radio was launched in Toronto).
I just loved the reference to the monolisa. Is that if you can only hear the picture in one ear? |

Julie Stewart-Binks via twitter: Talked with some scouts this morning and they think there is a 50% chance that the Ryan Murray gets drafted 1st overall. - peddy-93
I cant understand why Edmonton doesnt trade down. I think they will. They so obviousy need this kid, and arent defensemen harder to get than forwards? Good ones I mean? Isn't edmonton stacked at forward? Would Franson/Riemer or Scrivens be enough to get them to flop picks with us? I doubt it. But what if we traded Grabovski to Carolina for the 8th pick? Then traded 5/8 to Edmonton for 1/31 ? Dumb probably I dont want Yakupov as much as I just want to see some Burkie draft fireworks while I get drunk, eat burgers and watch the draft.
Also, I heard that Doughty has become really good friends with Kobe and that they are thinking of joining the WWF as a tag team called the Rohypnal Rippers. |

Nash GM meeting with Howson this afternoon. Probably Howson going to try and convince Nash to accept Philly. If not, I suspect Philly will make its play for Bobby Ryan |

Name a Dman that came in and was a superstar dman the first season after he was drafted.
It would be easier for the Oilers to draft the clear cut number one guy and trade for top Dmen.

Hahah, and I don't normally bother listening to anything made before say 1995, quality is just poor and probably has been playing on the radio for 30 years.
Only stuff I can say I like that's older is some Dream Theater stuff, Some of Rushes more creative songs and King Crimsons 21st century schizoid man. |

As I lay Dyings new CD didn't impress me as much as their last 2, but it was decent. Can't say I've heard of Ghost though. Have you heard of Oh, Sleeper? Their new album is pretty good. |

remind me never to get into a handshake deal with you
as with all things, there are unspoken rules
is it legal? yup
is it a jackass move to the team that used an asset to draft him? also yup. |

Even if they draft a D and he wins the Calder, Edmonton isnt winning the cup next year, so why does he have to come in and be a star the first season after he was drafted?
Look I love Stamkos, but Doughty just won the Cup. Maybe that is what Edmonton should consider. I just think that , outside of the Crosbys and Lemiouxs, its way easy to get an Yzerman than a Bourque. |
