Good writeup. I love his shoot-first attitude - that fills a gap on the Oilers imo. Hopefully he'll be able to stay a little healthier with the amount the puck will be spread around on the oil. Even next year, if he were on a line with Hemmer and Gagner, it wouldn't be physically imposing, but you'd have two able puck carriers and one truly great sniper. He might be able to park himself in the slot Stamkos-style.

They shouldn't fear that. Any trade down would include an agreement I'm sure. In any case, the history of dmen taken 1st overall scares me, and Murray isn't a slam dunk pick by any means. If they don't take Yakupov, then it should be Galchenyuk. Murray is NOT the solution to our blueline woes.

I'd disagree, but that's just me. A guy who can play 25 minutes in a multitude of situations? That's exactly what Edmonton needs.
