Wow, Columbus has got some good goaltending, but I wouldn't expect them to be trading picks away, I thought they were rebuilding this year. |

You know you'll get JvR as well and even our first rounder...And we'll take Gomez off of your hands... - Flyfreaky

Before they moved, many hockey analysts were picking the Thrashers as the Cup favorite. Winnipeg is so lucky, they inherited a future Cup Champion. If they don't win the Cup either next year or the year after then the league is fixed. Go Thrash. - hankthetank
right on, i live in winnipeg, so that works out well. have to make sure to get rid of some of the smoke-beggers from portage though. also, i challenged stormey to fight on here once, but he wouldnt tell me what bridge he lives under. |

Lindback played 2 years as a backup behind a defensive minded team....
Bob started for Philly and did really well a season before they got Bryz because he had a passive playoff preformance.
I think it's a fair deal.... - Alexzanki

Stastny is a big contract, odd man out in COL but fits Burke's mold.
Could be had for Bozak, prospect, 2013 1st
JVR's value is low after concussion and pretty lousy season...and it's no secret Burke loves this guy.
Could be had for something like Schenn, 2nd round pick
Probably 1 in 3 chance Toronto lands Shultz....other plausible options for him are Van (from BC) or Edmonton (join the youth movement where he'll get big minutes)
Now tell me why I'm not offering enough or offering too much |

He had 47 points in 73 games and was a -7 last year
Plekanic had 52 points in 81 games and was a -15 last year
I guess on some teams he would be a first line centre. - BlowMonkey
Does Bokaz also play against the top line every night? And is Bozak out for more minutes on the PK, limiting his offensive situations? And has Bozak been consistently one for the best 2nd line centers int he NHL for the last 5+ years? And is Bozak even close to being defensively responsible as pleks?
Pleks has been a as negative +/- player just twice in his 7+ years, and he played most of last year with skiv 4th liners due to injuries, lack of depth and bad coaching.
I am not saying Pleks is the shiz, I am just saying Bozak only wishes he could be as good as Pleks. |

As a GM??? Please... he inherited a ducks team that was close to the cup already... In TO what exactly has he done that would make people think he is in high demand??? Maintained status quo and depleted the farm doing it??? Outside of fleecing the flames - most would say not much |
