What did we get for him again? - habs&islesfan Mathieu Schneider and conditionnal 3rd round pick in '09 (End up being Joonas Nattinen). IT was a 2nd rounder they got from WAS but they traded it to ATL with a 3rd for Schneider and the pick. |

Good luck getting rid of Komi - habs&islesfan
Komi is the more useful of our cap hits.. Between him, Army, and Lombo, I would assume Komi has the most value. Army did, but he is basically Jello now. |

The picks were 2012 4th round, 2013 4th round, and 2012 2nd round. They still have the #2 overall (I get the impression you thought that they traded the #2). - OtherKevin
No, what i'm saying is trade down from the #2, grab say the 20-25th pick and maybe another second rounder or a great prospect and taken subban. They could have added a pick or 2 or a really good prospect. Kept their 2nd rounder and 2 - 4th rounders and gotten a goalie who I believe has much better potential than BOB |

Wow, Scott Howson reminds me so much of JFJ I could vomit.
He's so bad at his job... Wow. Gotta feel for Jacket fans! |

The leafs get rid of puieces of garbage with bad contracts, and a bust of a prospect
for a top power forward and a top tender.
Burkie is a GOD - Oilhab
no your guys tender is a top tender... lou is in the top half now adays and only falling... if you think anyone is giving value for what hes worth now then your nuts... him at 37 or 39 or 43 is what were worried about... hence the underpayment... that is the point in a cap dump
not to mention in that offer we also gave Columbus the 5th overall |

Same hearing ottawa is there but who knows - top shelf 15

Agreed....I just think Bobrovsky is the wrong guy. Obviously Philly didn't see anything in him...and I don't see why anyone would. |

After watching the Nickelback portion with the mute on so i wouldn't commit suicide, I decided that Jarret Stoll is what would come out if the lead singer of Nickelback made sweet love to Jon Hamm. |

The leafs get rid of puieces of garbage with bad contracts, and a bust of a prospect and A Dman that can't make their own lineup.
for a top power forward and a top tender.
The only thing is really letting go is the 5th pick and just wait some leafies will say that's too much
Burkie is a GOD! - Oilhab
Kadri is not a bust, he is young and will be moving up in the line-up next year.. He was a PPG+ player in the AHL and I assume he has the potential to be a solid second liner... Gardiner couldn't crack the line-up? 21+ minutes on average for the year says differently. The 5th overall pick is of value like you said. Basically this addresses 3 big areas of concern for CBJ. Depth at the forward position, a solid defensive prospect, and a high draft pick to take whatever they need. Maybe not quite enough, but don't make it out to be the joke you are saying it is. |

I still don't get why CLB doesn't want Clowe, Pavelski, Demers and a 1st rounder.
Clowe AND Pavelski is a pretty good deal for the same amount of money going to Nash.
That is the best deal out there for them currently that I know of. |

I saw a ranking thing earlier today that had Kadri as the biggest bust in NHL history.. haha. although not true because of guys like DiPietro and Yashin.. but it is what it is.. I got a good laugh from it. |
