Well Calgary gets a 2nd for dropping down 5 spots from 14. Think the leafs could've done well dropping from 5th. Admittedly, I was never a fan of dropping until I saw how it all played out.

Seemed like a logical gamble of they wanted Reilly, and based on the price, the price would've been well worth the risk if they missed out.. Even if the blueliners had passed, and they had to settle for Grigorenko or forsberg.

I like your thinking. We are going back in the day of using the tactic of ian white as a forward, and being serious... that actually worked out pretty good he got us goals and was always back on D helping out
