Murray has already played with nhlers at the world championship he got more minutes then schenn. So ya I can say he will be better

See i can come to terms with an edmonton fan, but talking to the nucks is like talking to a brick wall or fans who think luongo is going to bring them the world back for a player who has the worst contract by far..

I don't blame you. Honestly, they probably both have a similar value, but it's only natural to get more attached to the player who plays for your team. I could see Schenn having a good bounce-back year, with Carlisle's system, and I've always liked the physical side of his game.

Only reason I think the Leafs would have to add to the deal is that, as I said, right now power forwards tend to fetch a higher price than defensive D. It makes more sense for TO to keep Schenn, at the moment.

We have seen glimpses of what schenn can do, and now under carlyle maybe he will improve. And your point murray played better? Why wouldnt he play better? Hes trying to prove himself, what does schenn have to prove? He is already on the leafs and has a roster spot, whats playing for canada have to prove to leaf fans? The only way he proves himself is with the leafs and he shows the player he was the first season he played with the leafs.

If you sign Schultz, I suspect one or even two of Fransson/Schenn/Gunner are gone. You move those guys to improve.

Atleast luongo puts up numbers. Komi is worse way to much and does nothing.

Not sure what Burke was doing today though. Michalek and Visnovsky got moved for scraps.

Rielly will take a while to get him ready for the NHL. I can see franson, holzer, blacker and komi out the door before schenn and gunner.
