If they were able to bring Kadri in on the deal (Not saying it was even remotely possible in talks), we might not need to be searching for another forward at the moment. It just seems like they're down on Kadri and I feel there isn't much excuse for keeping him in the AHL when that kid makes a difference every time he's called up.

You have to keep in mind that come the start of the Season that 10% exemption goes away. So take 7.3M off of that. Then add Carle and what he's going to be re-signed for according to speculation. So is it really a good chunk of change?
