EDIT - For the record, I see no reason to believe Hodgson couldn't be a superstar.. He has some ridiculously great decision-making skills that he did show off.. Just a matter of shooting a bit more instead of thinking pass first all the time. Ennis isn't exactly gritty.. But he isn't shying from contact. Gerbe isn't skilled? I don't know what hockey game you are watching.

Hodgson was OK at best as a Sabre last year. I'm not giving up on the guy because its gotta be rough gelling with a new team and moving as a rookie but "ridiculously great decision-making skills" is a bit of overkill.

I'll give you that Ennis doesnt mind getting dirty, but hes not a gritty player by any means.

Also gerbe is not talented. Love the guys compete level but hes just not that good.

Leino was paired with Roy and Pommer for the last quarter or so of the season. He still didn't produce that much. Yet Pommer managed to continue putting up points.

Just gotta find the players he can mesh with. It was also just the beginning for him. Leino has some ridiculously good stickhandling.. It's on the elite level. Did it lead to anything? Of course not. But his stickhandling is great. Just thinking positive.. You know how us Buffalo fans are.

I didn't see Hodgson make many bad decisions. He got voted the smartest player on his team back in high school and college (Weird award, but just to somewhat prove my point). He's a smart player who doesn't lead to many mistakes. His decision-making is great if you ask me, especially at his age.. But that is of course my opinion.

Ennis isn't gritty, but he's better than what he is getting credit for.

And Gerbe.. You try being a midget out there compared to everyone and measure him compared to everyone else. Gerbe is talented, and has proven it. He was one of the bigger reasons we even made a run at the playoffs last year. Forever remember that 180 backhand goal.

Can catenacci or sundher play wing??

I think that in rochester they have to play center but chances of making buffalo will be better at wing IMO

Ill say this... Armia will take over for vanek... Ennis and grigorenko will be our new drury/briere.. girgenous will be our new goose but better.. and foligno is our closest to lucic thay he will pot goals, hit ppl, and fight..

Stafford and pommer are our vet leadership..

At gerbes current pay cut.. i like him.. he works his ass off, he makes others work their ass off, he is a pest to opponents for how fast and full motor he is..

Also standing toe to toe slashing with chara won me over.. kid has heart which is more than we can say about half the guys currently in blue/gold sweaters.
