At gerbes current pay cut.. i like him.. he works his ass off, he makes others work their ass off, he is a pest to opponents for how fast and full motor he is..

Also standing toe to toe slashing with chara won me over.. kid has heart which is more than we can say about half the guys currently in blue/gold sweaters.

Glad the timing was right. He is kinda small but i think he has a better cieling than Roy. and a better hockey attitude.

Ill say this... Armia will take over for vanek... Ennis and grigorenko will be our new drury/briere.. girgenous will be our new goose but better.. and foligno is our closest to lucic thay he will pot goals, hit ppl, and fight..

I dont see hodgson being a superstar.. i just dont... Catenacci/sundher are 2C ceiling guys... Adam is not doing the right things..

We need another youth winger for these guys... And boy do i think Parise or Ryan would be perfect.

something we dont put enough stress on might be our goalie situation down the road though. reeeeeally dont see us re signing miller once hes an unrestricted free agent. i mean lets put it this way...if he would be an unrestricted free agent on july 1 do you think darcy and co would be heavily going after him ? dont think so in my opinion


enroth is too small (sure he can hold up 15/20 per year...but never a starting goalie imo)

i have a lot of faith in knapp because i watched him a lot in college ...but it was just college. pro game is different

Right now the comparisons for Knapp are like Rinne. His size is about the same and he has the same tendencies that Rinne did. He works with the same goalie coach in the offseason as Rinne as well. I have a feeling he's going to have a pretty good year.
