idk about all the gerbe talk. dont get me wrong...one of my top 3 favorite sabres (hence the name)

but im a realist. like a what point does the size factor outweight the heart he has?

the guy is for sure the hardest working player on the team but like...idk...hes not quite skilled enough for 3rd line and too small for 4th? his situation is so confusing to me


sure you could have a 4th line of like gerbe mccormick kaleta

but where does tropp go ? i totally think tropp is ready to be a regular 4th liner


and with gerbe on the 4th line...well then its not necessarilly a 4th line

As long as he continues to play with that heart and can continue to play as solid defensively as he has, he'll be fine and will have a spot in the league somewhere.

Same as ennis is fine... But the original post said same height as gerbe.. which 5'5 doesnt cut it usually... And if the roster has you at 5'5 you are really 5'3

i met gerbe with his agent two years after we drafted him and i literally was towering over him and i was in high school probably like 5'6/5'7

I like gerbe but his spot on this team is dwindling which sucks because he's one of the few that work hard every night.
