My post was that he has a great slapshot in the shootout.. My post didn't say anything about just last season. He did it just last year also, for the record.

I know he did. I watch pretty much every game. I have season tickets. I don't need you to tell me what he did and didn't do. I'm very well aware.

And I didn't need you point out it was 6 years ago, when I clearly never said anything about a designated time period.

There's a guy that sits behind me at the F'N Center. He has season tickets. He watches pretty much every game. He is NOT very well aware. Just can't assume everyone is.

^ Good point. Bet a lot of season ticket holders are the ones also yelling, SHOOT! every second the Sabres are in the offensive zone.
Edit - Obviously, most aren't season ticket holders, but just some contribution in there from them .

I go to about 20 games a year and try to get to at least 1 out of towner each year as well. So far I've been to Pittsburgh (got to hear the announcement that they were staying in Pitt and getting a new arena), Boston, Columbus (twice) and Long Island. Planning on either a double game Florida/Tampa trip this year or Washington. Haven't decided yet.

That definitely is not me. I can't stand when people do that. As a matter of fact, the guys who sit behind me are season ticket holders as well and start taunting the people in our section that do that. They'll start yelling shoot when we're in the defensive zone just to be stupid and point out how obnoxious it is. It makes me laugh every time.

What would you say is the best out of town arena you've been to?

I always get aggravated when people just yell shoot like shooting is the best option 100% of the time.

That's why I haven't been to Washington yet. It's always at an inconvenient time like around Christmas or Thanksgiving.
I really want to get to Chicago too, but this is the first year that it would work for me scheduling wise. I feel like there are so many for me to choose from this year I don't know what one to pick. Leaning toward the Florida one.

Chicago is a nice facility and the crowd/noise is great... They dont call it madhouse on madison for nothing but what i will tell you is this... The crowd can be real bumholes..
I grew up about 40 mins from there as a fan of ahl milwaukee (nsh affiliate).. so me and a buddy went to see rinne his first year up...
Yea probably had 7 fights picked with me for jus wearing a preds tshirt jersey and a beer thrown... And i was not even saying a single word to anyone talking poop.

The arena in Columbus is awesome. The corridors are pretty open and there's tons of stuff for kids to do during intermission. The seats are pretty nice as well. The building in general is just really nice. The fans there supposedly hate us, but they don't really say anything when were there. Probably because they're pretty much outnumbered.
Pittsburgh had a good crowd but I was there back in 06-07, so I was in the old building. I had to walk up about 12 flights of stairs (no joke) and then there was a safety rail in front of each row of seats up there that was digging into my knees the whole game, and I'm only 5'7". The fans there were heckling us, but we just kept asking if they knew who anyone else on the team was other than Crosby. I also like to tell them that Sidney is a girls name.
Boston's arena is on top of the north train station, so that's kind of neat. The kids in the building were really disrespectful and they wouldn't sell beer to anyone with an out of state license that was under the age of 25. All of the seats are also yellow, so it's kind of obnoxious.
The Nassau Coliseum is just a dump. Period. But the fans were pretty nice.

Oh, I've also been to Quicken Loans arena in Cleveland for a few AHL games. Those were a good time. The fans there were nice and the arena is pretty decent. I wasn't a fan of the way the chairs felt, but that's probably just personal preference.
