Wow really? I have a problem. I currently have 11 jerseys hanging in my closet. Some football, some hockey. I'm starting a collection of the jerseys from the 1980 US Olympic team. Started off with Ramsey. Not sure which one to get next.

Ken Morrow would be good. Solid guy, real solid NHL career.

I was thinking Eruzione. Since he was the Captain. I started with Ramsey since he was a Sabre.

It just seems right to get those first. Whether he played 10 games or 1000 games, he still skated on the ice wearing the blue and gold at some point.

I think after McClanahan I'll go with Eruzione. Then your list might be a good place to continue.

Eruzione should be next then. He scored the winning goal in the miracle game against the USSR too.

On a more somber note, if reading this doesn't pull at your heart strings I'd wonder about you.

I actually talked to RicoMartin today. Here is the summary:

Roy, Sekera are a package deal. Darcy knows teams love them, and he's going to get a King's ransom to get them. This was a great play on words by Rico. Reading between the lines, I figured out that Roy and Sekera will be traded for Anze Kopitar. Rico knows that Grigorenko and Kopitar are both Eastern block guys so the fit would be natural.

Next, he told me teams covet Enroth. He also told me Columbus sucks so naturally they need a good goalie, and we all know Enroth could win the Vezina. He could also get hit by a bus crossing the street, but don't tell Scott Howson. Darcy will fleece Columbus: Enroth for Nash. Just because we feel sorry for them, we're throwing in Denis Persson and the rights to Harry Neale's "He shot that from 48 feet out" line.

Can you imagine Kopitar centering Vanek and Pominville? Grigorenko between Nash and Leino?

Chills.

I see you still cannot come up with your own deals.
Last year no one thought that Reiger could get a bag of $!@# for Butler and Byron. What did he get is a seasoned defenseman and now a draft choice that is probably better than Butler is right now.

My point on ethnicity... Is Grigorenko Russian, then you need to get someone who is going to make him comfortable here. Czechs and slavs don't usually get along, let alone Finns and Russians and Latvians......so good luck to us if Armia and the Gs ever end up playing on the same line together

Ott and Morrow for Roy and Enroth is a possible trade;
Ott for Adam and Brennan is also a good value....very similay to Byron and Butler who many of you thought we should be giving up a seond pick with in order to get Reigher.

Is this the year Buffalo puts an offer sheet to Sam Gagner or do we wait until one of their top guys become RFAs?

Still hearing Vanek for Ryan as the principles in a deal with Anaheim.

Still hearing that we have interest in jokinen and Gaustad; both give the Gs a couple of years to get ready;

Like the idea of bringing in Arnott and rotating him and Grigorenko in and out of the lineup;

Like the idea of bringing in Langenbrunner to help persuade Parise to come here;

Can see us signing a defenseman like Coliacovo, Allan or Sarich

Can see us signing a back-upo goalie like Roloson or Biron

If we get more than 2 pleayers at any position...forwartd, defense or even one goali, it is because we are preparing to trade someone else in those positions.
