Maybe... Just maybe, a Roy and Adam deal for Ott could happen.

Ott is a nice fit for Buffalo, but why trade for him when you could just sign Brandon Prust via FA?

Sure you can still trade Roy, but go get a draft pick for him while still adding your sandpaper guy to the roster...

Prust isnt half the player Ott is. Plus hes a killer face off guy and PK'er. You guys cant pencil in Foligno yet. I realize he didnt good once called up at the end of the year or w/e. But its too soon to pencil him in. Ennis could go back to wing and put Ott in the middle of him and staff.

I like Gerbe. Like him so much I'd use him for a team looking for forward speed in exchange for a pick or some one size or a package deal. He could still be a 20 goal scorer given the opportunity.

I assume that Prust is going to get significantly overpaid when he hits free agency. I'd be hesitant to play a 4th liner the type of money that he is going to command.

Other possibilities for the 3rd Right winger are Jagr, Peter Mueller, Huselius, or Penner. None are as good as Ott, Morrow, or Doan but could provide 3rd line scoring.

Why would we trade for Roy? We just traded ribs away to get a younger center to play with benn. They would want NHL ready prospects and picks. Unless its a deal for Roy and Vanek

Just don't see moving Leino out of his natural position. Love Ott as a third line winger but prefer him as 4th line center and get Doan or Morrow on the third line

They've already said they're keeping the foligno ennis stafford line. Foligno is in the opening day line up for sure.

Roy was always projected as our number 1 center . but we all knew he wasn't big enough to compete with the other teams . Lots on here thought our GM was crazy (some still do) And over the past seasons , he has proved us right .
We need better ,bigger number 1 center.
