The player with most 'heart' is in bold..
One of only players on current roster always giving a 110% and IMO the one and only untouchable on the roster.. (is doing exactly what he's paid for, and the 10% more!!) |

Agreed. I think it's very telling to be a + player on an off year when you only contribute 7 goals and 21 assists...
He's no doubt in my mind a complete hockey player....maybe the most complete hockey player on our team. - Pen15
and one who could probably thrive in carlyle's hard work systems.. he's got the frame and the strength along the boards to force the play forward.. and skates well enough to keep up with the open ice guys.
and he's a ridiculously hard worker.. personally i wont mind if burke signs him to a bit of an inflated contract.. with him.. it wouldnt bother me a bit |

I don't think anyone thinks it'll all be smooth sailing...I was just commenting on the prospect of both having franchise dmen potential. - Pen15
The last 33 games of the season, Gardiner had 7 goals and 18 assists.
The first part of the season......... 0 goals and 5 assists |

everyone looks at his points last year and says "off year" but his board work and detail work was still very very very good - Dozzer
Macart as well. I heard numerous times that he was the Leafs "most efficient player."
I am however not sure what that equates to statistically. |

Don Cherry forgot to take a look at all the Leafs draft picks over the past 3-4 years before he went on his idiotic rant about there not being Ontario born players on the LEafs. - Juice
Are any of the draft picks on the Leafs right now?
Nope.
Well then. |

Except for the many, many missed games......comes with his line of work though I suppose.
I personally think Grabo and Kule show more heart and determination than anyone on that previous list. |

Jake Gardiner still needs a lot of work.
I hope Leafs fans realize this.
Because I'm not willing to sift through 100,000 posts calling for him to be tarred and feathered when the kid struggles through a sophomore slump in February. - Atomic Wedgie

They're our only defensively responsible forwards in our top 6. But actually I was surprised by MacArthur's CORSI stats. |

by far the single dumbest arguement
other than kadri's year.. the picks are just leaving junior
and this is the first REALISTIC year (realism seems to not have a home around these boards) that you can expect guys from Kadri's draft year to seriously compete for NHL jobs.
stop the whol draft pick nonsense.. your entire argument is based on a fraction of a percent of drafted players in the league since burke took over the leafs |
