Sign him for a year and see what happens. If it's 5-6 million, it's one year and the impact that has on someone mentoring under the best goaltender to ever play... That's invaluable.

Why not try to sign him to a 1-2 year contract to mentor Reimer? Would rather have that than 10 more years of Luongo.
