But kessels better on the wing, JVR hasnt proven anything or done much on the wing.. ever think he can reach is potential as a centerman? If he was a centerman before... How do you know how well he can do as being the number one centerman? What if he flourishes and reaches his potential? What if he should of never been a winger hmmm? What do we know? JVR converted to wing when he turned pro. Quite common with NHL wingers, they played center growing up and converted to wing to land a roster spot. We are seeing this with Kadri.

JVR has never reached is full potential yet, kessel has so there is no comparison of the two. Kessel plays better on the wing and he has PROVED that with consecutive 30 goal seasons and having a career year of 82 pts in 82 games. JVR has barely passed the 40 pt mark as a winger... if he plays good as a centerman since he was drafted as a centerman and the flyers rarely used him as a centerman since they have so many centers, ever think he would play better as a centerman and reach is full potential if you gave him a chance since in toronto, centermans dont exist?
