How do we know Gardiner isn't reaching his full potential as a Dman?

No no, instead of keeping a natural center who has played center his entire career, we should stick a winger there instead.

I can see them trying a lot of different line combos in training camp and wouldn't be surprised if JVR centers the top line at some point. Might even see that on the PP, who knows. It's worth a shot. However, going into the season with JVR pencilled into the top line center slot is a bit foolhardy.

Honestly? I think Connolly has a career year and sticks as the #1 all year. Contract coming up, guy was pretty much healthy all year (well, by his standards); I could see that happening.

You guys are too overly concerned of having proper centermans on our 1st line when we dont have a proper centerman for our first line unless burke gets one through a trade. If the leafs continue at this rate without a centerman, tell me whats the harm of trying JVR or Kadri as 1st line center? If they do good what your going to be mad at that? We suck either way with bozak on the first line, so whats the difference?

I trust Bozak a hell of a lot more in that position than JVR and especially Kadri?!?!?! Wtf friend... Kadri? He'll be lucky to crack the line up and you want him as the #1 C?
