Flyer fan, what do you think. For a first line centerman who would you take the gamble on.

1) Kadri- never given the proper chance at a full season, potential

2) JVR- overshadowed by the centerman in philly, potential

3) Connolly

4) Steckel

5) Lombo

6) Bozak, acquiring 47 pts as a 1st line centerman with kessel and loops, acquiring 32 pts in 2010-2011 season, and is 26 of age.

I'd go with Bozak for sure. He is still improving and JVR doesnt have the defensive skills to play center at the NHL level. Kadri is also a huge liability and might not even make the roster.

Why not give him a chance at center. If it pans out, great, you found a number one center......if it doesn't, he still makes your second line better

Wish is even more scary when Ben Scrivens is the only goalie that had a good year last season.

You guys are too overly concerned of having proper centermans on our 1st line when we dont have a proper centerman for our first line unless burke gets one through a trade. If the leafs continue at this rate without a centerman, tell me whats the harm of trying JVR or Kadri as 1st line center? If they do good what your going to be mad at that? We suck either way with bozak on the first line, so whats the difference?

I dunno.....Lupul-Bozak-Kessel had us in a playoff spot in February before the Great Collapse. I know what the response to this will be. If we ha d a true #1C, we'd have had a playoff spot in April.....which could be true, but there were other factors.

If we get Bryz and his contract, you'd kill a helluva lot more than just a couple of birds.

Thats what im saying, give the guy a chance either him or kadri, see how they do as number one center with kessel and lupul, if they do good you keep them, if not they make your second line which i agree on.

Thanks Mike but not thanks! Marty would not even consider the Leafs as an option. He would retire before playing for the Leafs.

I'm failing to see why everyone's so infatuated with a #1 center? Before Lupul went down, Kessel and him were having career years, and what? top 10 in the league in points for most of the season?

Goaltending and defensive play have been our downfall since Belfour days. Carlyle, bounce-back Reimer > #1 center.

Yeah we should for a fact. To see how he can handle it and a full season since he has potential and was drafted in the first round for a reason, and bozak is a mere 3rd line centerman. Are we going to win the cup with bozak as our 1st line centerman? No we are not. So why do you care if we put kadri or JVR who i can guarantee will put the same numbers or more than bozak.
