Where I love Hicks is that he has a lot of very deeply serious things to say. At times he is less of a standup and more of a political radical, with jokes. He's more thoughtful than Leary. Not saying that's better, just different. More in line with Carlin and Pryor. Like the difference between Family Guy and South Park. Both very good, but South Park and Hicks are the punk rock to Leary and Family Guy's Top 40.
