Don't bother with the argument. Two or three years from now- if VrD is not great in Toronto, the majority of Leaf fans will be criticising the team for trading Schenn, "he was just coming into his own", "we should never have gotten rid of that guy".

There is a legitimate discussion there as to why he shouldn't be in the Hall of Fame.

a) A complimentary player on a very good team
b) A complete disaster as a GM
c) As President sitting back watching his team be last 3 years in a row
