Would have been much funnier if you had said bowling might be more up his alley. |

but then he would have to use his tender wrist.....hence why maybe soccer is a better fit.

I'll re-phrase....every GOOD player can play through injury. - Barx
that and it depends on the injury and its seriousness
and dont say yzerman.. thats just flat out unfair .. that guy played through everything.. he was special
and colborne did play through the injury.. he just lost his offense.. but apparantley still played a very good all around game
i wont peg him "3rd liner" .. i see him as more a colby armstrong type.. a fringe third / second line guy
so if thats your point.. then yeah, i agree |

Jonathan Quick just signed in LA... why is nobody talking about Bernier, should be cheaper than Luongo and has potential. I think it's worth the risk to get Bernier - Sundin113
I completely agree with this.
We need to find the young goalie of the future. Bernier is an RFA after next year . Cap hit is 1.25 MM this year.. why not have Bernier, Reimer and Scrivens next year. If it turns out not 1 of them can carry the mail next year fine you can walk away from all 3 and try something else. The odds that 1 will pan out are pretty good I think though.
Leafs aren't a contender next year and just a goaltender away.. Lu is the wrong choice IMO. |

Yeah but if bernier is a bust, and we gave up some valuable assets for a guy thats a bust, leaf fans would lose it and go insane |

BUT, with grabovski already manning the 2nd line pivot.......I just don't think colborne has the jam to be a number one. |

Every avenue has risk. You have to pick one and go for it. Bernier is the path I would choose. |

No we wouldn't. Scrivens or Reimer would fill the void and we would be happy as tits about that. Plus, if Burke were to attain Bernier it would be for cheap. That guy is a trade magician, him and Nonis. |
