Did you see that the Yotes said they are not bringing back 39 year old Ryan Whitney even after leading the team in scoring I believe.. - JVince11
Ray Whitney called the organization a "doormat" because of all the uncertainty surrounding it. |

EK has Ryan as 20% to Sabres
45% to Flyers
I mentioned a couple days ago Ott for Roy. - SABRES 89
Homer said weeks ago that he didn't think Roy would be on the team past the trade deadline and said that if he some how cannot be traded that he would be wearing red, white, and blue in Rochester... word for word. |

Whitney hates Buffalo told them no before signing with the Yotes, he will not come here. You mean Ray not Ryan right? |

I have no issues with Homer by any means but it seems when big events roll around like the draft and free agency he is nowhere to be found and he has been dodging questions regarding what he has been hearing lately. |

I think the Stars are entering a rebuild myself.
Why trade youre only true top line C in Ribiero off for Eakin and a 2nd? Everyone might not think Ribiero holds any value on the trade market, so they got what they could for him. But Ribiero was more valuable to the Stars team this upcoming season than anyone they currently have. They have no top line center right now.
I think a lot of this has to do with the financial problems the Stars have had over the last couple of seasons to.
I never said or claimed the Stars would trade Ott for Roy. - theblueandgold
They traded Ribeiro for the same reason the Sabres probably should have gotten rid of Roy sooner, he is a square peg trying to fit into a circle hole as it pertains to the locker room. |

I'm hearing Jagr is being sought for a mentor role. They're imagining a line with Vanek-Hodgson-Jagr being good for both Vanek's confidence and Hodgson's development. |

Nope he never did, doubt the Sabres give up anything for Ryan. Seems like Parise because it's all cash and no players moving, Darcy likes that. I don't think we get Parise but it sounds good. |

Jagr is a 1 year guy.... I don't see him ever coming to Buffalo.. he is a big market or original 6 team type guy...
I think he takes a 1-2 year deal in Detroit or NYR and retires. |

There's several issues being evaluated by judges in regards to the Phoenix debacle. Bottom line is that Jamison is no where close to finding $170 mil in investors. IMO, the reason they haven't moved yet is because there will be a lockout. |

10 year 85M
12M 1st year... 10M 2nd year.. and 8M from there on out until some circumvention thing in the final 2-3 years would be my guess..
They could also be waiting on seeing how much money they are going to have to offer Parise before resigning Ennis... they might be waiting to see fi they really need to trade Roy's 5.5M salary or Sekera's 3.75M to make things work.
I made sure I put the apostrophe after the guy's names so that the grammar police didn't call me out.. |
