He's telling me Darcy is considering caving in to some of Murray's demands. I'm hearing Ennis, Pysyk, and a 2013 1st. Likely a pick or two going either way, as well.

I'm not trying to get ahead of myself, but it appears that a deal may be imminent.

Ennis contract will be short term (2-3 yr) deal around a cap hit of $2-2.5M.

Kaleta has to be qualified for at least $998,250. He will probably get $1M even.

Marcus Foligno will be on the roster at 900K.

That gives us 21 players with ~7.2M in cap space to go after free agents for basically 1 more roster spot.

If only Goose was here to see that she would flip her wig... She says every day when Pysyk gets brought up that he is NOT going any where because he is a right handed shooting d-men which is "exactly what we are looking for"

I would trade Pysyk in a heartbeat.. he hasn't even played in the AHL yet.. all of his potential is in Juniors..

I would do that for sure. I hate to part with Ennis but if it nets me Ryan absolutely you have to give to get.

For sure. I know Ennis was pretty great as a center at the end of the season but I think 33 good games as a center doesn't mean you are a good center. And Ryan is a much better winger for sure.

I knew you'd be getting stomach pains after reading that. I think you're assuming Ennis is a long term answer at center based on a very small sample size. I look at this as a wing for wing trade and Ryan is by far the better player in that spot.

I can't see Roy and Ennis being shipped out unless we try for another center.

Defends his teammates and absolutely can be a PK player. Not every player has to score goals to be an impact player. Moen definitely serves his role hence the extension he just got.

McNabb should also be up and paid 800k. 8 D on the roster right now.. someone will be moved.

Cogliano would be interesting but unless they weren't planning on Ennis playing center I don't get that trade as much.
