Parise's final three teams are Buffalo, Minnesota, and Pittsburgh in no particular order. Stafford has really piqued Parise's interest, and as has been said before, players around the league really did take notice of Pegula and how he changed the atmosphere around the Sabres.

I don't get why everyone is so eager to add him in to whatever trade they want us to make
I'll give up Brennan WAY before I'd consider Pysyk
It might take about 4-5 years...
But a top4 of Ehrhoff-Myers and McNabb-Pysyk could be REALLY nice
I realize by then we'd need a new goalie
That's why I'm all for getting in another top4 defenseman NOW,
And let McNabb & Pysyk develop at a decent pace
Last thing we need to do is put too much responsibility on these guys too quickly

You can argue Ruff wrecked Adam by switching him all over the ice. Or that he's an average skater at best that wasn't too keen on his defensive zone responsibilities. But I don't think it has to do with being rushed.

also, i would be willing to bet that we are nowhere near anything close AT ALL with bobby ryan. homer said we dont have any interest in him and hes been spot on with more sh*t than you have been. sure hes missed slightly on a couple of things but as far as im concerned hes the only reliable source on this blog

.....honestly I really don't know. Obviously I would love to see the headline "Parise signs in Buffalo" but I'm not holding my breath. I like Prust and to some degree McClement. Its a pretty weak UFA class and am happy to sit back and see what happens because there isn't much to want. I like most everyone else would like to see some trades to change the stale core though. I think it's apparent at this point that Roy will have to be part of a package to bring back anything significant. If he's been on the market as long has been speculated then it's pretty clear his value isn't all that high. At this point I'll just be happy for something to happen

Yeah I think Pegula is definitely ready to take a run at Parise but it'll be tough to lure him, hopefully Staff has him convinced. Other players I wouldn't mind are guys like Prust,Parenteau,Jokinen and there a bunch of role players but as Darcy said the market is very thin and top heavy.
