Paranteau to me is one of those AHL guys who has really good skill and caught a break playing with Tavares. I think you can find a lot of Paranteaus out there that won't come with that price tag.
The rumor business is a no-win situation. Today, I call Schultz going to Edmonton hours before the decision is official, and I'm told that everyone and their mother knew Justin was going to the Oilers. If I make a mistake on a rumor, I'm chastised to no end.
If you don't want to listen to my rumors, then don't. I don't need 12 year-old queers critiquing my professional skills.

I think, outside of the crazy contract Wideman got, hes poised to become the most overpaid UFA tomorrow

LOL no way is Parenteau an AHL player are you serious? No doubt it didn't hurt him having Tavares but I think Parenteau is a very capable player.

I agree. I such a talent deep team like Pittsburgh he would be getting about 5 minutes ice time less per game than he deserves. It would be similar to the Staal situation(I know Stall is a center). Parise needs to be in a leadership role.

He was, and he caught his break playing on a great line on a bad team. You realize there are probably at least a dozen guys in the AHL with equal skill. Sometimes players get buried and never get their chance. Paranteau did and he made the most of it, he will now be rewarded for it.

Its the internet. Besides, your hearing stuff from a guy who heard it from a guy. I'm not saying your sources are no good, but the first level people like the agents and GM are playing games with each other and being deceptive. So by the time that info gets to fourth level guys like you, its already changed. Its a big poker game.

Unfortunately Kennedy has the looks of a third liner at this point in time. Sutter is a 3rd line center. Neal and Kunitz play with Malkin. That leaves Crosby to play with Dupuis and somebody else.
