Miller was his boy. It was Miller's event. Lalime's shoulder got hurt in the fight. Enroth called up shortly after with Lalime healthy scratched... |

And 4.6 Million over 2 years to me is a good deal for the Pens with Niskanen.
I like Niskanen, he is a solid player and that is a really fair deal for both sides. I think the Pens won that contract unlike the Preds and Gaustad :/ haha - Morskdog89
Predators needed to sign Gaustad and Gill to help convince Sutter and Weber....question is whether this is enough?

anyone got any ideas for us to be targeting tomorrow for a 4th line banger role? other than parros if that falls through
homer said they are torn between a 4th line player that can actually play and a 4th line player that is strictly a fighter (a la parros)
to be honest we should be targeting a fighter
all our 4th line guys have somewhat of a skill set:
gerbe: shifty..annoying to play against...can score (too small though
mccormick: overrated fighter in my opinion...grinds in corners...great hitter though...sets the tone on a shift a lot
kaleta: outstanding pk guy...and everyone in the league absolutely cant stand the guy so you know hes doing something right
that leads us to be needing a guy that can straight up pummel someone
my favorite in the league is thorton out of boston. he is far and away the best because he can scrap and put up some pts |

However, Doan isn't itching to leave the organization and "wants to give the Coyotes every opportunity" to sign him, his agent, Terry Bross, told TFP Saturday evening.
Speaking to TFP Editor-in-Chief David Pagnotta, Bross indicated the earliest his client would sign a contract -- with the Coyotes or another club -- would presumably be July 8, the date in which the Coyotes will have a clearer picture as to whether or not they'll be staying in Arizona.

Vanek + Sekera for Ryan + Beauchemin
Much better deal for ANA than any package for Ennis + - theblueandgold
Vanek, Roy, Sekera and Adam for Ryan and Getzlaf.....we still gain on the cap and use the funds on Parise and Allan.
Then sign Langenbrunner and McClement for good value as role players; drop McCormick or Gerbe...make them fight for their jobs if you have to. |

Parise needs to be the go to guy....he won't ever be that in Pittsburgh.
He will be that in Buffalo, Minnesota or Anaheim. - RicoMartin
I completely agree with you on this one!

Rico, do you ever wonder why the team not named BUFFALO in your fictitious trades would have zero interest in your asinine proposals? If you don't, start thinking about it. I believe it's called "playing the devil's advocate." |
