Great Blog Bill!! - as always!!
Suter & Parise will be really interesting to watch with the large cap increase
still seems weird the cap is this high, especially making for such a high cap floor for the lower $ teams |

Garrison makes more sense to Pitt, Parise or Suter doesn't, they still are paying about 7-8 players almost 70% of a $70 million cap. |

Bill,
knowing that carle is not the sure thing that we thought he was, would you rather homer had not made the trade for schenn? |

I think if the cap stayed "pat" he may not have made it, more $ for a #5 $3.5 million D man, but Schenn & Mez get paid enough to be top 4 guys somewhat, Kimmo's health situation clouds the vision of your top 4 |

out of all the fa's, doan is the perfect fit...fills all needs up front plus some.
i like garrison, but even leino had a good year once.
suter would be great but not worth the $
i would trade cooter+ for weber |

I really hope Homer doesn't shoot himself in the foot by resigning carle for 5 million or more. Stupid Calgary and their insane Wideman contract. |

This Schultz kid is a gem. Wouldnt accept a call from Neidermeyer from Anaheim like he did Gretzky.

Matt Carle is one the most polarizing players on the team and I have no idea why. |

If Carle can get 6 million now, does that change the opinion of anyone who wasnt willing to sign Suter for 7+? Is that just the market now for defenseman? |
