Garrison makes more sense to Pitt, Parise or Suter doesn't, they still are paying about 7-8 players almost 70% of a $70 million cap.

I think if the cap stayed "pat" he may not have made it, more $ for a #5 $3.5 million D man, but Schenn & Mez get paid enough to be top 4 guys somewhat, Kimmo's health situation clouds the vision of your top 4
