Who knows, maybe Howsen finally lowered his Nash demands. I think for what Nash is, the rumored assets Columbus wants is probably fair. But that cap hit has to lower his value to most teams that want him. Maybe something finally gave on Columbus' end. I trust Holmgren won't do something totally stupid. Getting Nash in and of itself could be ok, even with the cap hit, depending on what is given up.

Sounds like the exact song and dance from the trade deadline and around the draft. I wonder why(if?) things are actually "serious" now, if the main sticking point all along (Schenn and Couturier) hasn't changed from either side.

Flyers, if they remove G, Couts, and B Schenn from the table really don't have what Columbus wants in a Nash deal.
