There has been an ownership change. You know that the new MLSE (Bell and Rogers) are looking at the Oilers and Senators and saying those teams might provide a better model for the Leafs to proceed.

One thing would make me happy today. And that is if the Leafs picked up a true #1 center. It's what we need. Our D can survive, with the addition of JVR our top 4 wingers are fine and Grabo is perfect for the 2nd line center slot.

Yes, great! Please Burke do nothing again. That doing nothing was super helpful come trade deadline day. You either pay a high price for a #1 centre now or you are faced with trading away all your assets for one later. Hmmmm, cap space, money out the bumhole, why not sign no #1 and go for Tim Connolly 2.0 this year?

*edit - I know there are no #1 centers available through fa right now. Just venting.
