Maybe Boyes had a couple fluke years after the lock out. The Bruins clearly thought so and didn't pay him, then they went on and won the cup. Then he wore out his welcome in St.Louis and they couldnt wait to move him. Then st.louis almost won the Presidents Trophy.

So basically the Sabres will do big things this year and Boyes will continue to be a nice guy that can't finish anymore. lol

You'd think that Vogel, Harrington and Gleason could provide us with at least 1 scoop or a bit of info from time to time. Why do we never get anything from those guys? Protecting their sources?

so this morning as I was on my morning bicycle ride, I was thinking about the site and some of the posts. And since I was heading downtown for breakfast, I decided to go a little out of my way to quell one of the most common Trade Deadline and UFA day misconceptions.

So this is a Capt12 people, confirmed with MY own 2 eyes...

DARCY REGIER IS AT THE ARENA!!

He was getting his briefcase out of his SUV literally as I rode by. Plus I passed Lindy coming down Michigan Ave.

So at least we know hes in the building. (and hopefully heading to Toronto)

actually, it was the 21st pick from the preds and we traded that pick and a second for the 14th overall pick - zemgus girgonsins or however its spelled. grigorenko was drafted with the sabres first round pick this year
