Boyes, Kozlov, Max, Gilmour, Audette, Woolley, Roy, Leino etc...
Paul Hamilto says a bunch of players were pretty critical off the record. He said one player called Ruff the most negative coach he's ever had in his entire hockey career. - RayHatesDomi
I dont argue that. I actually think he probably is just that and hes needed to go for a whileIM much more pro-Regier then pro-Ruff

Today is an artificial hot seat.
Just because we didn't do anything today does not mean all is lost.
We're coming off a year when we hit the market hard and expectations are high.
Side note:
DD & I have a source that says DR is throwing paper at O'Reilly tomorrow.
And he's a SOLID source.
I mean a WALL of info.
The GURU of who-to.
The CZAR of Gwar.
So stay tuned... - Purple Eagle
That would be a pretty sick move. Or maybe he will threaten Colorado. Trade us Stasny or we're going to offer sheet O'Reilly.

to all quoting MacKensie from the twitter side.....it is completely different from what is or has said on NHL.com. He specifically said there...Carolina, Detroit and Philly are in on Both Suter AND Parise.
He also said Rangers really want Nash
Speaking of NHL.com I have not heard one single mention of Buffalo at all not even speaking of needs or the money factor, cap space etc and I've had it on all day. no comments or suggestions on who they should be looking at almost like we don't exist.....hmmm maybe we don't! |

What i want to see done. . .
Trade Ennis+Sekera+1st (add prospect if needed)
for
Ryan.
Trade Vanek + Pysyk + Adam + Leopold ++
for
Evander Kane + Bogosian
Team immediately becomes tougher, bigger and adds scoring. |

Funny how people are complaining about how we haven't done anything today. But of all the guys who signed today, I don't think one really would of helped our team. I really don't see one guy that I would of been really excited over if we got so really I'm not concerned yet. |

I am on the fence with him, but hasn't Stastny been linked to the Sabres in the past? |

With the type of money/ years i am hearing/reading. I am kind of glad we are not in on it. Players never live up to the contracts signed on July 1. |

I'm right with you there. I am fine with Regier, he does more than people realize. Ruff however should have been gone years ago. He destroys players! How many times have we seen a player come into Buffalo, have a rough go (Mainly due to Ruff mis-using them), then leave and have a solid careers? In no field should you still have your job after failing for 16 years... |

I think Columbus turns around and deals Nick Foligno to Buffalo in another deal. Both GM's are good friends!
Don't think Murray would deal Nick Foligno in the division, but it's a way that Darcy can get Nick? |

Nash blocked a deal to Ottawa today. Wonder what the rest of the trade would have looked like? |

IMO, just does not make sense. We dont need that Foligno. We have enough of his type of game. We need more skill. |

Neither of those two are that much of an upgrade over Ennis and Hodgson. Don't get me wrong, they are both great hockey players but I just don't see the point. |

Parise and Brodeaur may go back to NJ.
However, NJ may need to trade some guys out.
For what it is worth, Roy and Brennan might be the part of a deal to take on some contracts out of NJ....Zubrus is very likely if Buffalo is going after Semin; Tallinder is also quite possible. |

SJS has done nothing thus far and their team needs a shake up. I feel like something might drop with them. Plus they've been trade partners with us in recent years. |

O'Reilly should look for a big pay day someplace else, he's not worth 4 or 5 mill |
