it is close when they're both healthy, but i really like the way tropp plays and kaleta reminds me of avery and is a Richard himself.

I posted last night that they will sign either a guy like prust who isnt a heavyweight but still fights, or a true heavyweight that can fight but cant play like Parros...was it Parros, no but it was a guy just like him.

it's because of that mentality being displayed on a regular basis that i don't even bother with trade ideas. it's pointless.

trade ideas are great, Eric. But when someone posts 6 moves to reshape our roster? Such as trade player x for player y, then sign so and so, then trade player z with prospects A and B for player Q, and so on and so on.

It isn't realistic. Darcy hasn't made that many trades in 3 calendar years, let alone within one summer.

Ive been anti-moving Ennis for a while, but Id be more against moving Pominville. I know what he "represents" to people, but hes a solid all around player, plays all situations and really isnt all that bad of a leader. I think moving him for Ryan, while you get size and more scoring, it just looks to me like a lateral move and not a "get better" move

To make the final roster Brennan has to pass through waivers to go down to Rochester this year due to his years of experience. They can't just send him down now without exposing him to waivers.

The moral of my story is many bodies, only 23 positions. Trades WILL have to be made.

My guess is he take a one year 2 way deal, so all this bickering over Brennan is pointless.

ahh... okay cool... Brennan is a decent player but I bet his full ceiling is no better than a 4th or 5th d-man..

I still think he should be in a package to bring back another forward.. he didn't exactly show "anything" in those 11 games that warrants his huge potential in the future.

I love the signing and agree that he's needed on this team considering what has happened over the past couple of years. Then again, I own a Peters jersey...so.....

You clearly dont understand how the NHL works.

He doesnt even have a contract yet, but lets say for the sake of argument he has a 1 way contract.

The Sabres will place him in the AHL before the regular season starts, and he doesnt have to go through any type of waivers.

Remember Morrisson last season? Remember how he didnt play a single game for Buffalo? Remember how he had a 1 way contract? Remember how he played in Rochester the entire year on said contract?
