Everything that we are paying Cody and Scott to be..... Scott is better..
we want a Goon... and we got one now..
at being paid to be a Goon.... Scott>McM in every facet of THAT...
 - JVince11
They pay Cody to be a spark plug.
AKA hit guys, fight occasionally, and pot a goal here or there.
Scott is paid to beat people up. Thats his only role.

its only 600k you sit him in the press box when not needed and he watches out for the team when need be. I don't care if he has 0 goals and 0 assists for his career that is or never has been his job in this league.

dont take your hate from the boards out on me
miller stunk it up in those games and was way more of an issue then mccormick
and for the record, I have no time to change player settings on a game
I run my own freakin business and have a full time job so I can pay off a 30 year mortgage in 10 years - homiedclown
Miller also had 2 1-0 shut outs in that series... don't forget about that..
sweet offensive help... Miller is also NOT the reason why we lost that series. |

Just like how Miller gets blamed for the loss when we lose a game 0-1 or 1-2.. damn him letting in those goals.. our offense did it's job. - JVince11
he let 5 goals in for those 2 playoff games I mentioned, we scored 4 goals in those 2 games

what you just described is what Kaleta does.. Cody is paid to fight. Thats why he has lead the team in fighting majors each of the last 2 season even though he only played half this season he still lead the team.
oh.. and just to bring it up... kaleta is paid less than McM. |

Excuse me, let me go further, since this is straight out of the NHL CBA.
http://capgeek.com/NHL_NHLPA_2005_CBA.pdf Page 66

Players who meet the criteria set forth below are exempty from Regular season and re-entry waviers:
SKATERS

Brennan is 23, 3 years from entry level deal and has played in exactly 11 NHL games. He is exempt from waivers. |

Cody can also play hockey. He has almost 500 NHL games of experience. Scott hasn't played in more than 51 games in any one season, and there's a reason for that!!!

Miller was facing one of the best offensive teams being Philly that year with a whole slew of top 6 forwards and centers... our offense was facing Bobzovsky, Leighton, and I forget the other d-bags name.. and they couldn't score goals..
3 goalies for Philly that have no business even being starters in the NHL I might add. |

or 3 years and he has played 3 pro years in the Sabres organization. - GilPerreault
This is completely incorrect. That guy whos opinion you linked me to is completely wrong. Please go to the CBA and read for yourself.
If a player is 23 years old, 3 years removed from the ELC, and has played fewer than 60 NHL games (regular season and playoffs)
HE IS EXEMPT FROM WAIVERS |

Good man. Thanks for asking. Just busy with work. Finished a 3-month bathroom renovation a couple of weeks ago (kept me away from here for a bit). You know, the usual life bs. How about you? |

All I said was it's a waste of a roster spot.
There are ways to get tougher wihout resorting to signing a talentless goon. I hated Peters when he was here and I already hate Scott.
They will stil get pushed around because the goon scares no one from the press box. |

At the risk of prolonging this.....
Why can't Joe Finley be "Our Goon"? |

i'll make it really simple.
Cody McCormick is paid to play hockey. by default, he's paid to skate, hit, shoot, score and fight. |

they need tough players who can actually play more than 3 minutes a game when he does play |
