I think we could mesh Olli with Ville to get Leino going. - sabresfandan
I'd dump Leino for a 7th rd pick just to get him out of here. |

He's much more talented than Kassian - RayHatesDomi
He maybe but hes yet to show it on the ice.Just kind of looked lost and frustrated to me.Ill give him a full season before fully judging him tho. |

I'm not that down on Ville, did he get overpaid...absolutely but I still think he is a good player just needs the right center to play with...OLLI |

If something comes with Vancouver shortly...then As far as I can tell...Boston, Buffalo,Calgary,NJ,Toronto and the Caps have not one single move today.
Not that anyone isn't trying but that's what I'm showing |

Not gonna lie. After seeing many of the deals out there today. The only ones I might be able to stomach was Parros, and MAYBE Parentau. Thought he might have gotten $5 million, ended up with $4.
Prust got way too much for my liking. |

Yes, it did take Hodgson a bit to fit into his new team. He started to look good at the end of the season. He'll be fine.
It might be too soon but, Kassian looks like he's gonna be a bust |

Ryan has averaged almost 5 more goals a year than Van in the last 3 years, is cheaper, younger and more physical. - Homer
But if Ryan doesnt like the fact that hes always being brought up in trade discussions, and they have to move him out, why does it not make sense to move him for a guy that will give you equal production, unless they are considering a rebuilding route.
Ryan has declined since he scored 35 much like Vanek has since he scored 40. Not to mention Vanek isnt playing with Perry and Getzlaf like players over the last 3 years.
You dont think Vanek would score 35 goals with Perry and Getzlaf or playing with Koivu and Selanne? |

I think Grigorenko and Hodgson both have more upside than Ennis. Ennis had an amazing hot streak. No way he keeps that up. I would like to actually trade somebody when their value is high - RayHatesDomi
I would trade either to improve the team. Ennis is a nice#2. Not sure where Hodson projects. If Grigorenko is a top 2 this year or next would want more of a Ott Type as my 3 |

everybody wants us to sign players and I get that, so do I, but you're right..no tmuch happened today that I was upset we missed out on. I also woulda signed Parros to for a mil per and also I would have matched what Dallas gave Whitney, but other than not not much of note. |

Everyone thinks Hodgson is better than Ennis, yet why would Anaheim not be after Hodgson?

declining from 35 to 34 to 31 isnt much of a decline at all if you ask me.
I'm sure Van would have good numbers their, I just dont know if that deal would work for Anaheim |

we need a 3rd line center... and I liked him the most for that spot... and 1.5M is not that bad for a guy that can win faceoffs on the PK |
