And the Flyers traded for Schenn, signed a backup Goalie. And will have no problems locking up their RFA's. |

Just a thought... I wonder if Homer has something up his sleeve... What if the Flyers sign both these guys - which is pretty much unfathomable. However, if Timmo retires (he is in the last year of his contract - payment to Timmo is much reduced from previous years) - it would make a lot more sense. The Flyers would have $22M room under the cap (less Shelley/Timmo/Pronger). If Suter/Parise were $8M each, they would still have +$6M in breathing room to sign RFA.

Devils have Brodeur and Hedberg signed for two more years. A 40 year old goaltending duo.
Surely Bryzgalov and Leighton will significantly outplay two old men right? RIGHT? |

I was wondering if Kimmo is maybe worse off than thought (or is simply actually considering retirement), and that the Flyers know he may be thinking about going. Otherwise, it really is hard to imagine how both these guys could fit with the team. |

I want nothing to do with Carle at this point. If Suter gets a cap hit of 7-8M than Carle is going to try and get close to that. Ill pass. Atleast Suter is an all star caliber defenseman and Carle isnt. Both being overpaid but one obviously has higher crudentials around the league. |
