I wonder how pissed the GM's really are right now. They all were forced to completely forego all the other UFA in order to have a shot at these guys... for the most part at least. |

They most likely have a trade in place to dump salary if they both accept. - Flyers2821
Salary dump's don't make sense either... Most of the large salaries are locked up in NTC/NMC (Briere/Hartnell/Schenn/Grossmann/Coburn/Timmo)... You're not going to get anywhere trading salarys less than $1M (Read/Rinaldo/Wellwood/MAB/Lilja/Sestito) You're not going to dump Giroux, B. Schenn or Coots... Who's left; Talbot, Simmonds which won't gain much with Salaries less than $2M. It pretty much leave you with only Voracek's ~$3M

I'd be pissed too.....unless they agreed with my team....but yeah, for the losers, it's going to suck -- but knowing homer and how crafty he is, he is a backup plan already in place. |

at least Homer has Laughton and Leighton to lighten the mood |
|

Flyers should throw Shelley into the deal for either Suter or Parise. He can be their assistant/chauffeur/butler.
Anyone know if the NHL allows this? |

Please allow that to happen and maybe we can trade to get Seabrook to clear some space for them.
