Actually they should worry about the big money names right now.

They can only go over the cap by a bit (10%?) in the offseason. The best time to push the limits while you still have Gomez on the books is while Price and Subban are not yet signed and I guarantee that is why Price isn't signed yet.

I think Bergevin has something big taking place and details are being worked out whether it be a free agent signing, a trade, or both.

So supposedly Jagr is deciding between Montreal, Edmonton and Philly? Is that confirmed by anyone? I cant see why he would leave Philly, but if he did... why Montreal? 15th place last season, taxes blow, I dont really see PP time and playing with Pleks making him join Montreal, seems like when everyone said Selanne was going to come play with Koivu a few years ago...

There should be no buyout until the new CBA is signed.

There is still hope someone would be dumb enough to give us a bag of pucks for Kaberle.
