With the $$$ given in the pass week(s) to some D's... I think it's fair to say that Kaberle's deal is slightly more acceptable if he brings the numbers he usually puts up. 40 points a season ain't bad for an average at best D paid 4,5 M a year.

There will be injuries and Markov still carries uncertainties.

We have no cap problems. Ridding out his contract till the end of the season might be better. There might be a desperate team out there next Feb. Else, well ... you lower is buy-out next summer.

In two years the cap hit would only be 1.6 mil, and the cap will probably be 80 mil..

well Nucks dont really have to deal Luongo at this time....a few months into the seasons and teams start panicking they'll throw everything at em for Luongo...probably the best way to go about it anyways since Schneider's already signed
