Well, Bergeron wants to trade him simply because he can't pronounce his name properly. So my guess the first 2 points he makes every night are 1) Something about Gomez, even if he is not playing, in Hamilton, or elsewhere and 2) why not Trade Gally.

Yeah, but you know as well as i do, this is coming, and soon and often.

He makes the team better of course he does. But at what cost? More then Eller and Beaulieu for sure. They will want way more, and why shouldn't they? I agree what everything Symba just said, stay the (frank)ing course with the prospects and picks, for the next few years, and then see what you have, then get the player/players you need to put you over the top then, now it is still a guessing game on who will work out and who doesn't, why overpay to race for 8th place a la TO and Calgary every year.

I wouldn't mind a UFA like Semin simply because he wouldn't cost assets and I could see him having great chemistry with Plekanec and in 2 or 3 years, Galchenyuk, but (frank) it. I'm a big fan of building a hockey team the right way and for now we can't complain at all.

I was quite pleased with the Galchenyuk and Collberg selections.

I worry about Semin's mental make up, he floats/disappears in Montreal like he did in Washington, then montreal media/fans will have him reduced to a Kostitsyn in no time.
