I think Semin could be managed properly in a place like Detroit - lots of veterans, Russian ones too, a solid system in place, and a no nonsense coach like Babcock.

I would worry in a place like Montreal, with potentially lots of turnover for youth in the next few years, we would see a lot of the bad stuff from Washington.

Too early in the rebuilding process, Habs are finally building a good prospect pool, why empty already for one player. Rebuilding properly takes time and patience.
