I like Bobby Ryan, but if the trade had to include either of those players, I'd have to say no. There's a bit more upside to them than there is to Ryan at this point.

I agree I don't think Schenn or Couturier's upside is better than Ryan's. Bobby Ryan is a proven goal scorer at a young age.

All for a guy who has topped out at 35 goals and 70ish points while playing with Perry and Getzlaf.

Not sure I woud trade either of them as part of a package for Ryan.
