no i agree as well im fine with how it is now then fill in the 2 kids when they are ready. I feel Gerbe out the door for a real scorer would be nice.

I don't think we need Arnott anymore with Ott on the team... they would essentially be the same guy.. we need a vet voice up front like Arnott.. but it might not have to be a C any more..

if we got a vet winger who can still score.. I don't know what langenbrunner does any more on the score sheet but.. he is an option..

I think Hodgson will grow 10x better by having a full offseason, camp, and preseason with the Sabres... if they are able ot keep him with the same linemates the entire time such as Vanek and Pommer.. then I think..

Hodge could be a 60 pt scorer.. 30/30
Ennis could be a 65 pt scorerr... 25/40

I think we need a center who has been around for a bit and can help the young guys. That being said, I don't think keeping Roy around would have been helpful that way either, so I'm not sad to see him go. But I think we're looking at a very young group of guys down the middle. Maybe with the vets that will be on the wings it won't be so bad, but who knows.

That being said, I love that they're building this team around the young guys. I don't know why everyone is so afraid to just let them go out and play. Maybe this will make it fun for fans again like it was in 05-06 when our current vets were the young kids of the group.
