Beubye.

Agreed they need a big winger (poor Plek) and a another big D (since I don't expect Markov to play all 82 games). But these moves could be made at training camp, whenever that is.

Considering the injuries an Nhl team get every year, you can't have too many defensemen. Forgot about last season already?

Not sure they need a nasty defenseman with Emelin, Subban and Bouillon, but why not?

I know mtl fans will disagree, but if they can get Semin for 2 or 3 years at a «decent price», maybe that would be a good idea.

But the money is not there if they keep Kaberle and Gomez on the team. They still need to sign Eller and Subban.

Pateryn is not good according to QP, and so he won't be on the team.

I wouldn't mind Diaz as a 6 or 7, but nothing more. Weber sucks.

Bobby Ryan? That "+" after Eller better be something VERY good.

Greg Pateryn is far from NHL ready Eric.

The only youngster on D that could potentially make the jump straight to the NHL would be Tinordi.

I think Weber will be traded to a team in need of PP help, for a 2nd-tier prospect.
I would keep Diaz, and try to trade Kaberle.

Bobby Ryan will cost too much to trade for. We're better off to wait for our big guys to come up. Odds are Galchenyuk will be ready next year.

Trade Weber for anything that isn't a cap hit (a 6th pick would please me). Give Diaz a chance next year and see what he can do.

Let St-Denis have the 7th spot so he can have some ice-time in case of injuries (-->Markov)
Find a way to get rid of Kaberle and give his PP assignments to Diaz. If it doesn't work, well, here comes the lottery pick!

Give a 2-year contract to Shaone Morrisson.

He can dish out a nice check for his size, but is far from being nasty.

I guess compared to Double swiss and the other Brisebois wannabes, ya he is nasty.
