I think my boy is a bigger fan than I am. We did get matching red Harper jerseys. Sad, I know. Even sadder with the matching red/blue caps.

Jesus, Howard. If some dude violates your wife, you gonna get the kid to call him dad?

you can see into the future? Where are we finishing next year? Does Galchenyuk stick for the whole season?

You know what, don't answer. Go to Vegas, lay down some bets, and live like a king. A psychic king!

I don't even understand what this means. But talking about my wife being raped is always a funny topic for discussion. Well done.

See? Now THAT makes sense.

Thank you, why plug up your team with overpaid veterans when you may have a kid ready to make the jump and surprise as an early call up. They need to wait til after camp and pre-season to see exactly what they have before they go out and sign/trade for a top 6 vet, this is the safest route they can take IMO. Why sign a vet if a kid is ready to make the jump, they will not know this until after camp, and the pre-season.

He knows every player. It's kinda wacked. When he did it with the Habs it was one thing. When they hit homeruns, he actually gets up and says "See...You...Later!".

There are several issues here. First I can stand and say Kovy was not elite in his last year. He put up 65 points, not elite. He had many off nights, not elite. He had to be given a special talk by Gainey to get him to play well again, not elite.

The second issue is you assume that Gomez will be on the 3rd line, when assuming he'll be on the team at all is a stretch. And Kovy is not suited to play, let alone excel on the third line.

I think you need to take your Kovy glasses off.

Marc Bergevin on Scott Gomez :

"He's 100% part of the team and i have nothing to say more about this."

Seems as though Gomez's job is safe again, nice. And Kaberle isn't going to be moved, so why waste the cash?

Fair enough, I may have been confuse with the previous year then, but I'm talking about that "wake up year" he had. If Jagr, could do what he did with the Flyers last year, why not Kovalev? Unlike you may think, I'm not Kovy crazy but exploring different views for next year line up.

You have a good point on the Gomez file!
I just can't see that number 11 link to Gomez anymore, something got to give!

I don't think Gomez's job is safe at all. Bergevin can't go out and say "I'll bury that loser in the minors before the 1st pre-season game" can he?

Wow I'm impressed a guy on the internet who actually listened to an arguement. Thumbs up to you sir.

And I agree Gomez wearing Koivu's 11 is ridiculous.
