Port Colborne, Ontario native and center Bronco Horvath’s rights were sold to Montreal by New York on Nov. 4th, 1956. He played only one game with the Canadiens in 1956-57 and scored no points. He was acquired by the Boston Bruins during the inter-league draft on June 5th, 1957. In 1959-60, during his final year in Massachusetts, Horvath finished the season 2nd in NHL scoring, one point behind Blackhawks’ Bobby Hull, his teammate the following season.

He was never given a chance.
