Internet is a lovely thing.

Biggest NCAA markets are usually on National TV and even sometimes on NHLnetwork. Luckily Michigan and UND (Kristo's and MacMillan's team) are often broadcasted.

Can you post the notes you took while you were "scouting" him through the NHLnetwork.

This is also completely not true. The show NCAA and ECAC just about never on National tv, and even less so on NHL network.

They barely show the frozen four. In fact they don't even show it live. they show the finals on NHL network.

- EricEngels

Do you remember when the habs last won the cup?

QP remembers it too.

Just cause he went to Michigan, has an edge, and is a large defenseman, doesn't meant he scouting report on him is exactly the same as Mike Komisarek's pre NHL

I have the Big Ten network and CBS sports network and they showed roughly 10 Michigan regular season games this year. As well as a few playoff games. So I watched Greg pretty regularly.

I think he has a nasty factor that could translate this year. He just might not have the wheels.

Eller + Tinordi or Beaulieu + 1st next year + PAteryn should be good enough for Ryan.

IF he's NHL ready... Pateryn should be the key to this trade.

He isn't. He is perplexed, as are we, that you can have such a definitive view of a player that you've never seen play before, and you don't talk to scouts about.

It's laughable to think Pateryn is NHL ready and could surprise at camp...

But I'm enjoying this free pop corn.
