Moose and deer for food at least. Bear meat is fat and greasy. I understand shooting a nuisance bear for public safety but I don't get hunting either and I'm from the North.
Fishing is my favourite pass-time. |

HUGE difference between hunting and fishing..................
I fish for pleasure or for others to eat so I'm not on a high horse. I also get hunting for food but for the sake of killing something???
edit: even Huntswithbuffettray doesn't get it |

Cant say if this is the case in Carey's situation but bear hunt is generally a vermin hunt. Bears, as bad ass as they are, will often scour around for any food they can find and that means some bears end up coming much too close to human settlements and once a bear knows he can easily find food in our trash he'll keep on coming day after day. That's when you need to put it down. Bears are, after all, very territorial and can be extremely aggressive when it comes to their food.
EDIT: Notice how close to an habitation they are on the picture? I doubt they dragged that bear all the way to home just to take a picture with the cabin in the background. I probly hit the nail on the head and that bear was roaming around and they had to kill it. |

There are programs inplace for nuisance bears. most are relocated repeatedly before being put down by local officials, not vigilante hunters.
Also, if they were that close to a residential area and not just a remote cabin, no way would they be shooting rifles. If you have nuisance bears at your remote cabin, you're a (frank)ing retard.
edit: also, do you really think the bear died right there in that position? |

No of course they moved it around to put it in that position but man a bear is heavy as (frank) i dont think they displaced it too much from its point of origin just to take that picture, there would be no sense in that.
Also, it is a cabin but most of the time cabins comes in lots. There could be many cabins in that area and the bear was roaming around.
I agree that if its a nuisance bear, they should've had it relocalized rather than killed but then again, if they're hunters, they probably didnt even think of that. |

They have a little over 7.5 million left with subban left to sign And they still have 3 other rfa's to sign (if the chose too ) Geoffrion PaluShaj and Diaz in arbitration I have no idea if they are going to decide to keep a few bucks or go out and spend it |

Their D is still not strong enough and they are a very small team. Tons of talent but little grit and weak back end still. |

Geoffrion and Palushaj should be low, 2-way contracts
I have a feeling they will let Diaz go

I have a feeling either Tinordi or Beaulieu will start the season in the NHL
something along the lines of
Markov Emelin
Subban Tinordi
Kaberle Gorges
how do you think this def would look ? |

Tinordi and Beaulieu should both start the season in Hamilton
Beaulieu needs to work on his defensive side of the game, and needs to learn to be more aggressive around his own net.
For Tinordi, it will be about adjusting to another step in game speed. Also, he isn't playing against 16-19 year olds. There will be some adjustment on the physical side as well. I think they won't be in the NHL this season, unless they surprise and show they are really ready.
We will probably see Pateryn this year, since he's the oldest and probably more physically ready in that new group that is coming in. |

Beaulieu impressed last year at camp, I wouldnt count him out this year.
And Gallagher, if he has a camp like last year, they have to keep the kid. He's dynamite |
